Torrents

Torrents are a new wave of peer to peer sharing that have caught on like wildfire in the last few years.  Basically they work with the same principles as typical file sharing programs like Kazaa, however they are more decentralized and often times safer to use.  File sharing programs can be plagued with mal ware that can really mess up your computer.  Torrents suffer from the same problem, however the active community behind the torrent scene is alot more vocal about mal ware and often times if you find an infected file, they will tell you.
